MPP Consultation – Town Hall to End Poverty (Sudbury)

France Gélinas, MPP (Nickel Belt) invites you to attend a Town Hall to End Poverty taking place in Sudbury at:

The Samaritan Centre
Corner of Elgin and Shaughnessy MAP
Wednesday, June 25th
1:00 – 4:00 pm

The Ontario government has promised to develop a poverty reduction strategy by the end of 2008. The NDP was able to secure a second meeting for our community.

Fighting poverty and giving everyone a chance at living a decent life is a cornerstone policy of the NDP. We continue to raise these issues for all those who feel they have no voice.

That’s why our caucus is holding open, accessible consultations on poverty across the province. We want to hear from people who actually know what it is to be poor as well as their advocates.

Food and refreshments will be provided. Child care and bus tickets are available (please let us know by Friday, June 20). The Samaritan Centre is wheelchair accessible.

RSVP to Monique Lavigne at 705-969-3621 or lavignem@ndp.on.ca.
