Jane-Finch Community Anti-Poverty Rally (Toronto)

Over 100 people gathered on the corner of Jane and Finch on Friday, October 17. Displaying with placards with the message “End Poverty Now”, they chanted while slowly walking around the four corners.

Live entertainment — skits, raps, singing and drumming – accompanied the rally.

Covered by local media, the event was overwhelmingly successful! Everybody enjoyed themselves, cars honked their horns, people did a lot of chanting and we all thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.
