Poverty Watch Ontario
Poverty Watch Ontario is an initiative of the Social Planning Network of Ontario and serves as an information resource to individuals and groups by maintaining a calendar of local events and meetings on poverty reduction and reporting on as many of these meetings as possible.
i am very happy to see everyone involved with this challenge those people who do have everything they need taking time out from their lives to help people who live on less. just the idea that a mayor, or a mp would not eat that favorite steak or mashed potatoes for 5 days is a big step.. i for one took part in the challenge and can say that everyone in my city who took part seemed very genuine in their want to help this problem.. it will not be an immidiate fix to our poverty situation but it is a good start to fixing an ever growing problem
